THE SOURCE OF PASSION

THE SOURCE OF PASSION

Colossians 3:23-24 “V23 – And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. V24 – knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ

What is Passion? When a writer is driven by inspire thought, he stops for no one and nothing. He eats and sleeps and breaths the words in his head: That is Passion! Passion – Motivating factor to do anything for someone - having the right connection.

When an artist is struck by a an image, he sets down his palette, takes out his brushes and paints on his canvas. He does not care if he is alone in a wide, open field. He does not mind if he looks ridiculous: That is Passion!

Colossians 3:23-24 “V23 – And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. V24 – knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ

“...whatever” Everything we do in life should be done heartily as if we are doing it for the Lord.

“...do it heartily” You do – teaching, running, parenting, plumbing, etc. – we should do it heartily. “Do it with all our hearts!”

“...as to the Lord and not to men!” The passion we put into any project and activity in life is a good reflection of how we esteem the “ONE” for whom we work!

“...for you serve the Lord Christ.” THE SOURCE OF PASSION!

Discover the passion that is already within & build on it – fan the flame and make it alive (2 Tim. 1:6).

People are trying to find reasons to get excited about life today. For Christians we can live with a genuine passion everyday. Let’s apply Colossians 3:23-24 in our lives and it will change the world and your world as well. Christ is our Leader, Head and Power Source. Make sure we are in right connection with Him.

Love for God does not call for a small of us. It does not ask for half of us. It demands all of us!
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength (Deuteronomy 6:5)

What is your Passion?

Lord God in heaven - rekindle our passion unto YOU that we will love YOU with everything that is in us through out the days of our existence...In Jesus' name...Amen!

Congratulations ... you taught / raise them well! Thank you very much for your unceasing support and prayers - you are leaving a legacy that will be remembered by all generations!

~I'm Home ... Back to Winnipeg~

Left Arizona, USA, yesterday afternoon. Thanks to Bro. Sam & Sis. Mel de Asis for accommodating us - at their beautiful home with a 7 star or more ... kind of accommodation. Driving / touring us around the city - showing us the state of Arizona with the leaders together with their family. Not to forget - the generosity of Bro. Jerry and Sis. Hyasmin for allowing us to use their shop for our nightly sessions. So as the CMT members, for their passion in serving God and the people - it was very inspiring / encouraging to see them serving the Lord with an intention of giving the best for HIS glory.
Arizona (AZ) is for JESUS ... the Alpha and the Omega ... A to Z! The beginning and the end - HE IS GOD!
On this Mission Trip to JIL Arizona - it increases my understanding of "Who Is God" and "Who m I To HIM!" How HE intervenes in every situation 'till the end - yes I know, I am / we are in partnership with the Sovereign God - who is abundantly able to perform supernatural act on behalf of HIS people and I'm one of them!

Arrived Winnipeg on time ... from Phoenix Airport to Calgary, waited less than 3 hours for my next flight to Winnipeg. I'm still adjusting from hot to cold temperature ... Praise the Lord - for allowing me to experience different weather!

Again, maraming salamat ...thank you very much - to my leaders / pastors ... of the trust and to all who did pray for us. To JIL Wpg 1, Wpg 2, Wpg SE, Regina and Saskatoon leadership and congregations - thank you for all your prayers.

~...'till next time ... talk to you soon ... with God's blessings to all...~

~Mission Trip to JIL Arizona Updates~

Praise the Lord! The School of JIL 12 Vision has been successfully done in JIL Arizona, USA. The eight (8) leaders are excited and preparing themselves for the Encounter Retreat. Giving them the overview of JIL 12 Vision - inspire them the more to do the work of the Lord ... becoming more enthusiastic and visionary ... with the vision for the multitudes.

JILC vision made us realize that we are very unique: Our Preferred Future State:“A GLORIOUS CHURCH evangelizing and discipling Filipinos, and all peoples of the world through teaching and preaching the full Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Wherever we are - whom are we encountering with - it is an opportunity to tell people of God's love... to bring them to the kingdom of the Living God... for them to experience the saving, healing, delivering knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ! I am one of the privilege servant of the most High God to minister to our brethren in JIL Arizona - our wonderful, and loving family in the Sun City of Arizona.

Again ... thank you very much! Let the fire keep burning - Shine on for the MASTER! DREAM and let your dream come true ... Dream big and Win the World for JESUS!

The G12 in Bogota, Columbia, International Charismatic Church started with 8 people in the living, too. Since then, they are experiencing exponential growth that inspire us with so much rejoicing in expectation that greater things are yet to come in JIL Arizona - indeed "Year of Overflow" is in manifestation in t

JIL Wpg Recognition of Leaders & Workers

God is the Potter and we are the clay...as a Potter
He has all the right to shape us up the way HE wants -
according to HIS own purpose ... HE will work and re-work you! He asks for your heart to transform into something beautiful -useful and treasured (Jeremiah 18:1-12).

The opportunity is always available for each of us to be counted as one of HIS servants - an army who is ready to fight the good fight - giving our best for HIM for HIS glory! Let it each one of us be found faithful to the heavenly task and calling HE entrusted to us ... HIS name to be lifted up and our name be decreased!

March 7, was a celebration of God's amazing love and trust to those who committed their lives to the Lord becoming HIS servants ... leaders and workers in HIS vineyard. Time of pledging ourselves to love God with all our hearts, soul, strength - in our existence we will serve HIM - the best and the holiest service we can offer to our MASTER!

Jireh Martiniano - CYN Head of WPG 2 inspired us of his motivation
as servants of God under the banner of JIL Church.

~LOVE WINNIPEG~

March 3, LOVE Winnipeg: Annual Meeting at Church of the Rock. It was a gathering of different churches with a common goal of lifting up the Name of Jesus Christ – not the name of any other church but HIS … the Name that is higher than any other name – JESUS! This gathering demonstrates the love of the redeemed to the MASTER – the very reason of the meeting – as we lift up the name of Jesus …ALL MEN WILL DRAW NIGH UNTO HIM!

The meeting started with dynamic Praise and Worship followed by the exhortation of the word of God taken from Jeremiah 29:7 “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace. With the spirit of unity exhibited by the Body of Christ: “Pastors / Leaders from different churches and the love / ownership of the land / city assigned to us – for sure we did touch the “Heart of the Father!”

The intercession of God’s people were presented before the throne of God: We prayed for each individual commitment to the said event; more churches / people to commit for this year than last year (88 participating churches); spirit of innovation / creativity; finances - spirit of generosity… and more!

My utmost appreciation to all committees / organizers of LOVE Winnipeg for the free supplies for LOVE Winnipeg promotion – cds, pamphlets, booklet and even T-shirt (new – red shirt) so as the free lunch!
"WINNIPEG IS THE CENTRE-PEG" welcomes the World! With a shout of victory..."HIS Kingdom Come HIS Will Be Done In Our City ... JESUS IS LORD over our city!

~MOTIVATION~

Paul chose Silas and departed, being commended by the brethren
to the grace of God. And he went through Syria and Cilicia,
strengthening the churches (Acts 15:40-41).

~Friday Prayer Service~

February 27, Friday Prayer Service was sponsored by the Christian Youth for the Nations (CYN). With the participation of the Life Group Networks (LGN) - the congregations of JIL Wpg 1, Wpg 2 and Wpg SE the gathering became glorious. It was like what had happened in the book of Acts when the early church gathered together to pray in one place.
“...Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him!” Acts 12:5!
  • Prayer is both a right and privilege of redeemed man. Prayer is man giving God the freedom to intervene on earth’s affair. True prayer is maintained through oneness of heart and purpose with God.
  • IT IS NOT OPTIONAL. IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S PURPOSES ON EARTH.
  • PRAYER IS THE INVOLVEMENT OF ONE’S WHOLE SELF WITH GOD.
  • Prayer pleases God...constantly with fervency - lets continue to offer Prayers to GOD for the needs of other people, church, city, family by us - the church.

~Jeremy Revereza - CYN WIN Head of JIL Wpg SE

and Jireh Martiniano - CYN WIN Head of WPG 2~

...exhorted the the Word of the Lord from the Book of Matthew 20:29 - 34...giving emphasis to the word of Jesus to the two blind men: "What do you want Me to do to you?"

~Friday Prayer Service
became an avenue for the people of God to cry out / pour out their hearts together in presenting an individual person who
is in need of God~

"...the blind men answered the Lord, "we want our sight. Jesus has compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed HIM!" Matthew 20:33-34

Is there anything you want from the Lord...cry it out unto HIM - HE has an answer to every petition you may have today and tomorrow!

...hear from you soon -'till next time...

~Encounter Retreat~

February 21 and 22, at Camp Assiniboia, 30 minutes drive from the city-
2 days away from home for the purpose of Encountering God. It was a dramatic / live changing experience for the Encounter Participants with an objective of having a radical - visible change in their lives. Every Encounter Retreat God put a mark - HIS very signature to every participant - HIS authentication of Himself!

God has HIS way of touching people in every Encounter Retreat, though we are teaching the same topics but completely different move of the Holy Spirit - extra ordinary, unique kind of...! You have to be one of the participants for you to know / expalin it. The enemies dominion / tactics in the lives of the people came to an end - has been exposed and been dealt with. To encounter the Love of the Father is something to contemplate - really He never fail us - the very reason that we can face our selves - because of the abundant love of HIM.

What can we ask of our God - He gave HIS Son "JESUS" to give us power - to appropriate what the LORD has done on the CROSS! We are all over-comers - it is FINISHED! At the foot of the CROSS --- salvation, healing, deliverance --- everything is available ---heaven can offer!

~Encounter Speakers and the Ministering Team~

Our Father in heaven, we ask in the Name of Jesus' of Your mighty protection in the lives of each one of them - that they will remain strong in YOU and they will finish through the JIL 12 Training. Amen...

The ABC of Salvation

"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
___________________________________________________
Jesus died for the sinners:
  • Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates HIS own love for us in this: While we were sitll sinners, Christ died for us."
Jesus is the ONLY WAY:
  • John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the Only Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through ME.
Jesus gave us power to become Children of God:
  • John 1:12 "Yet to all who received HIM, to those who believed in HIs Name, HE gave the right to become children of God."
What Must I Do To Be Saved?

A - ccept that you are a sinner.

B - elieve that Jesus died for your sins.

C - onfess HIM as your personal Lord and Saviour.

THEN...
God's presence will go with you as HE promised with Moses (Exodus 33:14). This "presence" is "GOD IN ACTION" - doing things on your behalf. God's wisdom, guidance, strength - the Great I AM is with you!
_____________________________________________________________
Pray this Prayer...In Faith!
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe YOU died and rose from the grave to save me. Come into my life, take full control of my life; forgive my sins and save me. I repent of my sins and put my trust in YOU for my salvation. I accept the free gift of eternal life and I thank YOU for my name is written in the Book of Life. In Jesus' Name...Amen!

Teamwork Works~

Psalm 133:1-3

A Chinese Proverbs states, “Behind an able man there are always other able men!”

When you include everyone on your team, everyone always wins... It's always easier to work with people instead of against them. When you see the world as one team and invest your time looking for ways where you can each be beneficial to the other, progress and co-operation can be made with a mutual benefit for everyone. These benefits spread out like ripples on a pond each time you add a member to your team who makes a new contribution. This is true whether you're an employee, supervisor, owner, subcontractor or the president and cleanup crew of a one-person company.

Tips on How to Strengthen / Improve Your Leadership: (TQ Training)
  • A team sport where each player can make a valuable contribution to the whole."No one can do it all. No one knows it all.
  • Lead by example and inspire others. “To be an inspirational leader, you must first be inspired by and absolutely committed "
  • Enthusiastically look for other people to help complete the project(s). There are many talented people who are ready, willing and able to contribute to your goals and projects!”
  • Delegate as much as possible and communicate your expectations clearly."Delegation done poorly is worse than doing everything yourself.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings to ensure they produce maximum results. A meeting can either be valuable and highly productive or a complete waste of time
  • Do whatever you can to make it easier for others to help you."It's your responsibility to make it as easy -- and as fun as possible -- for others to help you!

President Lyndon Johnson said, “There are no problems we cannot solve together, and very few that we can solve by ourselves!”

Inspirational Reading from the Book of Esther 4
~...such a time as this...~ Esther 4:4
_______________________________________________
Every Thursday 6 pm to Friday 6 pm (sundown to sundown) JIL Canada Pastors and for those who can make it can join us to pray and fast for 24 hours. JILC is a Praying Church and Warrior-Intercessors Network is one of the Strategies of JIL Canada. Prayer should be the first in priority with fasting ... present our special requests to God ... to clear our minds / bodies of all hungers ... except our "HUNGER for GOD!" In a very difficult situation Esther, asked Mordecai and the Jews in Shushan to pray and fast for three (3) days and nights and even her maids to join them. To intercede for Esther's interview with the King. We need spiritual discipline that will deepen our "COMMUNION with GOD!" ...to plug in to the SOURCE... WHO can supply everything that we need!

Esther received a news from her uncle Mordecai about the plot to destroy all the Jews in Persia. As queen of Persia, Esther had many privileges but running to the King wasn't a good idea. If the King wasn't pleased to see her ... her life would be in danger. In moment like this - the decision has to be made. She is going to take a risk to see the King with / without an invitation. To reveal to the King the news she received and her identify a - JEW!

God uses people to bring about HIS purposes and Queen Esther was one of them - to save HIS people from annihilation (Esther 4:4 "...for such a time like this...!"

Each one of us has a special place / position in the Kingdom of the Living God and tasks that needs to be fulfilled to HIM in HIS plan. You are that special - where you are and who you are - for just "such a time as this..."

God chose you...You are the one God wants to use:

You are the best person for the job in your workplace;

You are the best parents for your children;

You are the best leader / worker for the church;

Simply ... you are the one ... God put you there!
God's best are yet to come...lets give the best to God...~
____________________________________________________________________

Lord, I thank you for the WIN ministry and the corporate Prayer and Fasting across Canada. We have common denominator and that is "If Jesus is lifted up...all men will draw night to YOU our KING!" Amen...

JIL MB CYN ... IN - ACTION... went to MISSIONFEST MANITOBA~Article was written by Tin2 Estabillo - CYN Head / Wpg 1

On February 6, 2009, Christian Youth for the Nations (WPG) supported the MISSIONFEST MANITOBA. The event was held at Immanuel Pentecostal Church. It was called the ‘Friday night youth and young adult experience’ and was joined by different youth groups across the province. The night opened with a lively praise and worship lead by a Spanish worship team called, six5one. the night was also participated by different bible schools and Christian universities encouraging the young people to get themselves involved in inner-city missions and even international ones. the night was completed by an inspiring message delivered by George Verwer of World Missions Advocate who challenged and ministered to the youth about making themselves available and answering to the ultimate calling in Isaiah 6:8, “whom shall I send?”. The night was well attended by crowding young people and was ended by another inspiring worship lead by Juno Award winner, Amanda Falk who sang her very own compositions.
February 7, 2009. REAL LOVE.. when does it begins?

This year for the first time ever, CYN hosted a LOVE, COURTSHIP and MARRIAGE seminar that would encourage the young audience on how to date. This valentines special event took place at the Jesus is Lord Church and was well supported by both young and adults in the church. The seminar was conducted by Pastora Mary Juarana who taught about LOVE and asked the youth the very intriguing question of , “am I in love?”. Followed by Rene Estabillo who spoke about Courtship and Pastor George dela Rosa who concluded the seminar talking about marriage. The topic became more interesting as the youth raised up questions during the open forum. The event ended with an eating fellowship sponsored by the CMTs and some of the parents. This first time event marks another of CYN Winnipeg’s history accomplishment as they work hand in hand to bring the youth together and learn about Christian Darting.

Inspirational Reading from the Book of 1 Samuel 18

~Friends Loves At All Times~ Proverbs 17:17
______________________________________________

The friendship of David and Jonathan demonstrated a deep and lasting-loving relationship - knit together kind of friendship... they loved each other!

What makes their friendship so unique? Both young and strong, gifted - warriors. Jonathan acknowledged David as God's leader of choice, though he was heir to the throne of Israel. Instead of holding to his own royal rights - he led the way for his friend - in submission to the authority. In humility ... with the demonstration of great character of a friend that needs to be followed and imitated. 1 Samuel 18:4 "And Jonathan took off the robe that was on him and gave it to David with his armor, even to his sword and his bow and his belt." He gave up / surrendered his own rights as heir to the throne and defended his friend David. It requires sacrifice and hard work - taking it seriously to develop this kind of friendship like Jonathan and David - to love each other 'till the end (1 Samuel 20:17).
Friendship needs to be developed, nourished and are precious - doesn't just happen! Work at it ... being a friend! Making new friends but keep the old ones. What makes your friendship special? Can you remember of the most defining moment - that you have shared with your friend? Let it be known to her / him ... that you treasure your friendship very much! Friends loves at all times - in sorrow and joy ... standing by her/his side always! Thank - You - My Friend !
____________________________________________________________________________________

Lord, YOU are a faithful friend to me! Help me to be a blessing to my friend(s) at all times...to be available to extend help to them!

Inspirational Reading from the Book of 1 Samuel Chapter 1

Be A Promise Keeper ... not A Promise Breaker~
______________________________________________________________
It begins with prayer: When Hannah had prayed and cried out before God to open her womb and give her a son, and made a promise that son would be dedicated to the LORD “all the days of his life – forevermore! 1 Samuel 1:11 “She made a special promise to God and said, "Lord All-Powerful, you can see how sad I am. Remember me. Don't forget me. If you will give me a son, I will give him to you. He will be yours his whole life, and as a Nazirite, he will not drink wine or strong drink, and no one will ever cut his hair."Holy Bible: Easy-to-Read Version.

She kept baby Samuel close to her and spent quality time at home teaching him the things that he will never forget (Pro. 22:6). Hannah knew that time will come to fulfill what she had promised to God – she knew how difficult it would be keeping that promise – but she needs to do it. She kept her promise and delivered Samuel to the house of the LORD (1 Samuel 1:26-28).

In the world there is this saying: Promises are meant to be broken but in God meant to be kept – just as God has kept every promise made to us. God wants us to fulfill every promise we made before HIM and to everyone: Be a promise keeper ... not a promise breaker!

Lord, YOU are a covenant keeping GOD and I am one of the recipients of YOUR promises and what YOU'VE said - it came to pass. As YOUR child, help me to do the same ... to do what I promised to YOU and to everyone. In Jesus' name... Amen!

Inspirational Reading from the Book of Ruth: Ruth chapter 1 to 4
__________________________________________________________________
The story started with Naomi's journey to Mo-ab with her family: Husband and two sons and her return after their deaths. That's why she told her friends not to call her Naomi which means "pleasant" but to call her Mara, which means "bitter!" She was so discouraged that she can't even see the blessing of her doughier in law - Ruth and the acceptance of her old friends when she returned from Mo-ab to Bethlehem.

But God's sovereignty will prevail - hadn't forgotten Naomi-Mara - radical changes took place not only in her life but also in her character. In every situation in life - nothing is wasted - HE meant it for good, though the devil meant it for evil but in God: HE is going to make all things beautiful in HIS time. All of life's events have purpose (Romans 8:28).

It's always our choice - if you respond negatively with anger / bitterness your name may as well be "Mara." But if you choose God's perspective - as HIS student - in HIS classroom - teaching you and shaping you into HIS planned design for you - you'll be "Pleasant" to everyone especially to the ONE who created you.

Remember: "What happens in you is more important than what happens to you!"...focus on the journey - not the destination ... treasure every moment of the way ... HE is with You!__________________________________________________________________

In you LORD my GOD I put my trust...Your ways are higher than mine...do your mighty ways in my life. I know it is always for my advantage everything that is happening in my life - it is with purpose - into your Hands with all submission...do it LORD!
Amen~

Friday, January 16, 2009

God told Joshua to be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). You’ve been into the middle of difficulty, hardship, trauma, discouragement, defeat? Whatever – situation you are facing ... God is with you! Just as HE was with Joshua and anybody else – HE is with you as a Friend, Counsellor...YOUR GREAT I AM...name it and HE is! Just be strong and of good courage. Hang on to HIS promises that if you follow HIM “you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before (Joshua 3:4).

You may as well answer, what Joshua had said: “WHOM will you serve?” The god of this world? The idols of this society? Or the ONE – TRUE – GOD – WHO is able to do great and mighty things in your life? (Joshua 24:15...”But as for me and my house we will serve the LORD!”
  • Our primary calling is by HIM, to HIM, and for HIM...called to SOMEONE and not to something!

  • Our secondary callings matter – but only because the primary calling matters most...is that everyone, everywhere, and in everything - for HIM!

God's invitation - needs an answer! Today is the day to embrace HIS love and the choice is yours. Let your YES be Yes forever - until JESUS' comes!

___________________________________________________________________

Whom I will serve? What an honor to be part of God's army - to be counted as one - the servant of the Most High God! Lord, help me to do the work you've entrusted to me faithfully ... that YOU will find me faithful in loving, knowing and serving YOU through the days of my existence! This is my prayer: In JESUS' name! Amen~

January 4, 2009 JIL Winnipeg 1st Outreach was born in the Southeast area of the City. It creates momentum in the church, giving opportunity / promotion to potential people and fulfillment of the vision. With our declaration, 2009 as Year of Overflow, God’s people has received the anointing of Overflow of the Power of the Holy Spirit on the very 1st Sunday Service of the year. It gives them the assurance that the Holy Spirit is always available as:
  • Counsellor - one who's called alongside of another person to offer assistance (John 16:7-8).
  • Coach - is there with us, offering us everything we need to take the next step.
  • Giver - (of all gifts )The purpose of this manifestation of the Spirit is for the common good—for the Christian community to be built up, strengthened, vibrant, alive, and spiritually healthy. The Holy Spirit also authenticates us as genuine children of God (1 Cor. 12: 7-11).

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the Freedom of Salvation, Freedom of Security, Freedom to move forward Spiritually and Freedom to Serve and our hearts OVERFLOWS WITH GOOD THINGS! (2 Cor. 3:17).
